I don't really consider myself that much of a "pre" planner, but I have to admit I have been thinking of Xmas/holiday cards since Labor Day. I love when people get creative with their holiday cards. Our neighbor (an elderly man who is quite a private yet kind artist) sends us a fun and unique card including a photo of himself embellished with a nicely photoshopped holiday outfit or accent. It is really very cute and touching.
I can't wait to reveal our holiday cards. This year our good friend Dabney Lee Woglom will be making our end of year greeting card. Dabney's stationery and home line is stylish and light, and she and her staff have a skill in determining each client's personal taste and incorporating it into each custom design. One of her patterns was taken from the wall paper we have in our bedroom and it looks fantastic as a backdrop on stationery or cards. Check out her two websites of her stationery and home lines and also her blog. Our cards will be modern, colorful and playful. Send me your address and maybe I can pop one in the mail to you too!
